Don't expect anything even remotely profound. It's all been said before and much better, elsewhere.

Yucatan Election Issues I'd Like to See
If you agree that the politicians running for governor have come up with the most lame-ass campaign promises ever seen, pull up a chair and join me in criticizing them. They deserve it.
Let's say you're renting at the beach and you want to come to Merida once a week for grocery shopping; this would be a reason to set up a ride with Mr. Lawson! He can take you to Costco, Sam's, Walmart, and Comercial Mexicana if you want.
Or maybe you're coming to Mérida, and want to go somewhere for dinner but it's out of the way and the taxi won't be there when you finish and the busses, who wants that? Another reason to set up a ride with Bill!
Or you want to visit a set of pueblitos at your own pace, stopping when you want, where you want, taking pictures or interacting with the local population.
What about real estate? Want to spend an afternoon with an agent who might pressure you, or you might feel bad 'cuz you're not really sure if what he or she is telling is the real deal or if you want to buy at all and you feel bad about possibly wasting his/her time? Grab a list of neighbourhoods and send Bill an email!
Like the little ad (above) says, Bill will be your personal driver. Canadian ex-pat, 20 years living in the Yucatan, completely fluent in Spanish and the author of this neurotic website to boot. What could be more fun?
And yes, that is the actual car.
